Four ways to add Opponents besides Downloading from our Database

Last Updated: Feb 06, 2019 09:59PM PST

There are four ways to enter opponent rosters other than downloading from our database:

1. Select your Season>>Opponent Teams>>tap the "+" sign at top of left panel and proceed with adding wrestlers.
2. Import a text file with the extension .CSV in which each row is last name comma first name. Create this as a .txt file in any word processor and change the extension to .csv.  An easier workflow is to create the file as a spreadsheet (1st column=last name, 2nd column=first name) and save or export as a CSV formatted file.

Filename: centralhigh.csv

Smith, John
Jordan, Jim
Sanderson, C

Initiate the import by emailing the file to your iPad or use some other method to get the file onto the iPad and tap on the file icon. During the import process, Takedown will ask for the Opponent Team name.

3. For a dual meet, add an opponent wrestler in the Event setup>>Weigh In Wrestlers>>opponent team listing (right side)>>"+". Not possible to add a wrestler in Scoring for dual meet. The reasoning is that all eligible wrestlers must be present and recorded at weigh in.

4. For a tournament, in Scoring>>Select Opponent>>Add a Wrestler>>select a Team>>enter wrestler last and first names.
